We believe that food is more than just sustenance - it's an experience. That's why we are passionate about creating unique, healthy, flavorful oysters that delight the senses leaving lasting impression on our guests. We believe in the amazing health benefits of eating an oyster.
A "SUPERFOOD" oysters are very high in essential vitamins, important minerals, and Omega-3 fatty acids. Oysters are also very high in protein and is one of the very few foods that contain all nine amino acids. Oysters are low in calories, fats, fatty acids, & cholesterol.
Because of this, oysters reduce the amount of plaque that accumulates in your blood vessels, effectively reduce cholesterol & triglyceride levels, and promote overall cardiovascular health.
About Us
We started Oysters Oh' LA LA right in our front yard in 2020. The start of the COVID-19 pandemic when our world was quickly changing.
Our Chef Melvin Holmes Jr. aka "Mr. OYSTER MAN" is from Amite, Louisiana. Amite, LA is well known for the big annual oyster fest and known as the oyster pearl! Mr. OYSTER MAN was born into a southern cooking family. He has Cajun cuisines infused into his blueprint. His experience with oysters started in his adolescent years. He has always been renowned with family & friends for his grilled oysters. They've raved for years about the oysters being a MUST have at gatherings! After lots of convincing from his wife, a simple idea to share the oysters publicly became a reality. We took a leap of faith and created our trendy mobile oyster bar. We now share his one-of-a-kind delicacies with the world! Since our start we've been blessed to be featured in news articles like "Better in Brentwood" as a new dining hot spot. Mentioned on the national news station KTVU channel 2 Fox, highlighted by Contra Costa News, and many other bloggers.
